HOG offers new membership benefit

Careful planning for the spring motorcycle season includes a click to Harley Owners Group website where members can sign up for a free new benefit to enhance their rally and touring experiences.

Riders carrying the the HOG/Best Western Ride Rewards card can skip fleabags and campgrounds that resemble a Hieronymus Bosch painting and instead head for the
welcoming arms of a Best Western motel -- and save 10% on a night's stay.

In addition to discount rates, program participants earn loyalty points on qualifying purchases that are redeemable for free gas, free dining, free Best Western stays and other free stuff.

Recognizing Harley-Davidson enthusiasts as a consistent and growing source of revenue, Best Western partnered with HOG to develop the exclusive program.

“We're proud to serve as the largest family of hotels to welcome those traveling on two wheels and ensure their unique needs are met consistently," said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International.

The “Rider Friendlies” also offer amenities that Harley-Davidson riders cannot live without, including access to a wash station on the property and free wipe-down towels, reserved parking spaces, and bottled water and lip balm.

And it closes the circle by providing complimentary room upgrades, early check in (for when you just gotta get outta the saddle) and late check out (the reason for which needs no explanation).

HOG members can enroll at no cost in the Best Western Ride Rewards Program through HOG.com.
